How to Fix Cloudflare IP Blacklisting Problems: A Step-by-Step Guide
Access Denied Errors 1006, 1007, 1008, or 1106
If you get the above error message when trying to get to certain websites, it could be because of any of the following:- Website Blocking: The website you're trying to get to has purposely stopped your client or browser from sending information to it.
- Zone Lockdown: The owner of the website has used a security tool of Cloudflare, such as Zone Lockdown 58, to block the Google Cloud Platform IPs that the Preview tab uses.
Error 1010: The owner of this website has blocked access based on the browser's signature.
If you get error 1010, it means that the owner of the website has blocked your request based on the signature of your browser. Resolution: To fix this problem, you should tell the owner of the website that it is being blocked. If you can't figure out how to get in touch with the website's owner, you can use the Whois database to get their information. Website owners can turn off Browser Integrity by going to the Settings tab in the Firewall app.Error 1012: Access Denied
Error 1012 usually happens when a website owner blocks access because of bad behavior on a visitor's computer or network, usually because of a virus or other malware. After updating your security software, we suggest running a full system scan to get rid of any viruses or malware that could be causing the problem.Error 1020: Can't get in
If you get error 1020, it means that a Cloudflare customer's Firewall Rules have stopped your client or browser.- Take a picture of the 1020 mistake from the customer's end.
- Find the RayID or client IP Address for the visitor's 1020 error message in the Cloudflare Firewall app's Firewall Events Log. This can be found on the Overview tab.
- While looking for the 1020 mistake in the Firewall Events Log, change the UTC timestamp to the local timezone.
- Figure out why the visitor's IP address is being blocked and change the Firewall Rule or add an exception for the visitor's IP address in the IP Access Rules.
Resolution for Website Owners:
- Capture a screenshot of the 1020 error from the customer's end.
- Locate the RayID or client IP Address associated with the visitor's 1020 error message in the Firewall Events Log found on the Overview tab of the Cloudflare Firewall app.
- While searching in the Firewall Events Log, convert the UTC timestamp of the 1020 error to the local timezone.
- Identify the cause of the blockage and update the Firewall Rule or allow the visitor's IP address in IP Access Rules.
